Q:

Is the villa available for my required dates and how much will it cost?

A:

Please check the availability calendar by clicking on "Availability" on the menu, enter the dates you require and an availability confirmation and full quotation will be generated.


Q:

What size and configuration of beds do you have in the house?

A:

3 King-size Master bedrooms en-suite, 1 Queen size bedroom en-suite and 2 Twin Suites that share a bathroom. The Tinkerbell’s room is a twin lower and a single top bunk and the boys has two twin beds that can convert in to a single king bed. All rooms are lavishly furnished. Q:

I have always stayed in a hotel up until now, what is so different about a villa?

A:

Disney hotels can be very expensive, for the price of one hotel room you can use our luxury villa with your own private pool. Our villa is superbly equipped to make your vacation unforgettable. Q:

Do we need to deposit any money with you before we can stay in your villa?

A:

Yes. A security deposit of £500/$875 is charged to cover the cost of any property or contents damage. Remember, this is only a deposit, if you look after and respect our property we will refund it in full.


Q:

Why is the security deposit a little higher than we have seen quoted by other owners?

A:

Quite simply, we provide more and what we provide is of a far more luxurious standard. We are making available to you a $650,000 property that is lavishly equipped. Remember, this is only a deposit; it will be refunded.


Q:

When we rent this house, how do we know where the house is and how to get there?

A:

Upon booking your stay and receipt of payment in full, you will be sent a welcome pack with instructions and directions to the house. It's approximately a 30 minute drive from the major airports and a very simple route.


Q:

How do we get access to the house?

A:

Access is achieved through entering a code into the keypad on the front door. This code is unique to you.


Q:

We like to spend a couple of days at home during our vacation to swim and relax. Is the sun on your pool all day?

A:

Yes. The pool faces south/west which means the sun is on the pool area all day long, even in the winter.


Q:

What happens if we have any problems or questions during our stay?

A:

There is a local management company on call 24/7 to take care of you. Their contact information will be in your welcome kit.


Q:

I don't know how to care for a pool. Is that a problem?

A:

The management company takes care of chemical-balancing and cleaning the pool and spa weekly.


Q:

Is the pool heated?

A:

Yes. For an additional charge the pool heat will be turned-on. Keep in mind that the pool faces south/west so you'll have sun all day long, even in the winter. Heat is not usually needed during the months of April through October.


Q:

What pool safety measures do you have?

A:

A removable Child Safety fence is provided. With the fence in place, there remains a deck area in which the kids can play safely without parents having to keep a constant eye on them.


Q:

I worry about cleanliness. Is the house cleaned professionally?

A:

Yes. The house is cleaned once per stay by licensed cleaning professionals. If you wish for an additional cost, the optional maid service can be applied.


Q:

I need to check my email and surf the web while on vacation. What are my options?

A:

The house has a computer area with internet access. WiFi is available for laptop users  for web access and any day-to-day requirement that you may have.


Q:

Do we need to take our own towels?

A:

No we supply towels, pool towels and bedding for your stay.  You are more than Welcome to take the towels with you to the water parks and or the beach as long as you remember to take them back to the house with you.


Q:

Do we have cool bags?

A:

Yes there are various cool bags/boxes in the house for your use.


Q:

What activities are available to us during our stay?

A:

Besides watching TV, playing games on X-box, PlayStation 2, various Board Games, enjoying a DVD, listening to Music, Pool table with pool and snooker balls, building with Lego, playing with the dolls house and swimming in the private pool & spa, the clubhouse has a community pool & spa, a sand volleyball lot, a video game arcade, a fitness room and sauna as well as a tiki bar. Tennis courts are also available as are Nature Trails for the brave.


Q:

What's included in the kitchen?

A:

Seating for eight (plus eight in the dining room), refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, small appliances, dinnerware (dishes, silverware, drinkware) and cookware (pots, pans, utensils, etc.)


Q:

Can I split the cost of the house with friends and/or family?

A:

Absolutely! The house has 6 bedrooms and sleeps 12* comfortably. It has five full bathrooms as well. No extra charge for people. *The state of Florida limits the number of people in this home to 12 plus up to 2 infants.


Q:

Can we have more than 12 people stay there?

A:

No. The state of Florida limits a 6-bedroom rental home to a maximum of 12 people plus 2 infants.


Q:

Can I smoke in the villa?

A:

No. The villa is strictly a non-smoking environment. You may smoke outside on the deck wherever there is clear sky above you provided that you exercise caution and dispose of your butts sensibly.


Q:

Can I take my pets?

A:

No. We have a strict no-pets policy.


Q:

We have small children. What accommodations do you have for us?

A:

The house is equipped with a high chair, baby alarm, pushchair/buggy as well as a collapsible playpen/crib. The pool also has a safety fence. There is a Lego table available for any budding engineers. There is a doll’s house for the little girls.


Q:

Why is your villa slightly more expensive than other villas I have seen on different communities?

A:

As with all things in life, you get what you pay for. We admit our villa is not the cheapest to stay at, but in terms of location, comfort, opulence and amenities it is quite simply the best you can get. When compared to the cost of Disney accommodation, we offer fantastic value for money.  It has luxury furnishings throughout. Emerald Island is a Resort and as a guest you are entitled to make use of the clubhouse facilities including spa, pool, gym, sauna, Internet café and tiki bar. Do I need travel insurance?

A:

As with all holidays / vacations we strongly advise you to ensure that you have comprehensive travel and medical insurance.

Q:

Is the villa staffed?

A:

No, although a daily maid service can be arranged at extra cost. The villa is maintained by a local management company that will professionally clean the property in-between guests and remain on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the event of an emergency. Not only does this ensure your privacy but the vast choice of activities, entertainment and restaurants in the local area mean that self-catering is a breeze and the preferred option for most guests.
